I am a wife and mother of three. I also am a domestic goddess with a part-time job (actually 3, which I do from home). Since I didn't already have enough to do I have enrolled in school to earn my Bachelors. This is my humorous attempt to get through the next four years.

Husband and Kids

My hubby (Prince Charming) is employed full-time and is also going to school full-time. He is less than a year away from getting his Bachelors. He is an amazing husband and father who is always helping us.

Our oldest daughter (Miss Princess) is 8-years-old. She is a second grader. She is a great reader and a friend to everyone she meets. She is always kind to everyone and the best helper a mom could ask for.

Our second daughter (Miss Sunshine) is 5-years-old. She is in preschool but is smart enough to be in Kindergarten. She loves to read and play. She has a great imagination. She speaks her mind and makes everyone laugh.

Our youngest is our son (Destructor). He is almost 3-years-old. He is curious about everything which ends up feeling like he is always in trouble. He is the most loving boy one minute and then I feel like Homer Simpson the next wanting to strangle him (I never would remember this is humorous). He is a gear-head so if it has a motor and or wheels he loves it.

Welcome

Welcome to my blog! For past few years I have spent a lot of time pouting (and I am a very good pouter) about my life not following my plan. The funny thing is very few things in my life have veered from my original plan. We have a house and three cars/trucks. While they are not the latest and greatest, the cars are paid off and the house isn't a fortune every month. I have three beautiful smart and healthy kids that are full of curiosity and fun. I get to stay home and be with my kids almost every second of the day (minus playdates and school). I have an amazing husband who has stood by my side through some very difficult times in my life and he still loves me as much as he did 10 years ago when he married me.

I guess I just pictured a perfect 1950s home where I cooked and cleaned during the day and he worked then came home and ate whatever I made (which would be perfect whatever it was). What I was most angry with was the fact that I had to work and not only that I had work to do (on top of all the other jobs that come with wife and domestic goddess) but it got in the way of trips to the zoo or park with friends and their kids. It is no fun to say "I can go as long as I don't have work." It seemed I always had work either when I got to where we were going so we had to rush and leave or we couldn't go at all. However, now I am done pouting and ready to move on.

Thanks to our economy we are finding it more and more difficult to provide the kind of lifestyle we have always wanted for our family. I have felt like I needed to do something more to help my family. The question was what. Then a few months ago my husband suggest I go back to school like he is. If I go to the same school he does I can do almost everything online and I can also do it at an accelerated pace. I never would go to school if I had to spend hours away from my family sitting in a boring classroom. It was a perfect fit. I will graduate just as our youngest starts first grade which I think is the best time to go back to work.

This blog is my attempt at creating humor out of this crazy time in our lives. I hope you enjoy!
